2017 Jack & Lucille Wonnell Young Artist Concerto Competition

BAMSO is pleased to annouce the winners!

Our First place winner appeared on our March 11, 2018 Spring Concert!

First place:

13 and under division: Sophia Suwiryo 8- Piano (St. Mary School)

Keyboard: Olivia Gittens 16-Piano  (Mason HS)

Winds/Brass/Perc: Cameron Slaton 17 -Oboe  (Franklin HS)

Strings: Christina Nam 15 -Violin (Walnut Hills HS)

Second Place:

Maxwell Fairman -violin

Natasha Saputra-piano

Katie Frazier-flute

Indepenence Day Concert

Tuesday, July 3, 7:30 pm, Montgomery Park


Help celebrate our nation's birthday on TuesdayJuly 3, 2018 at 7:30 PM by joining us in beautiful Montgomery Park.  “Music from the Sixties” will feature a mix of patriotic selections and music from some of the all-time 60’s favorites. Music of the beach boys, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Henry Mancini, music of James Bond 007 films along with Vocalist Adia Dobbins who will join us for musical selections of Tina Turner. Selections by Carole King sung by WGUC’s Elaine Diehl. This concert, the start of the Montgomery Independence Day celebration, will take place in Montgomery Park, at the corner of Montgomery and Schoolhouse Roads
